Vision, Mission & Culture

Our Vision

A world in which no animal suffers for food production.

Our Mission

Working together to raise animal welfare standards, reduce the consumption of animal products and spread the vegan idea.

Our Culture

Impact for the win

Our main goal is to make the foundation redundant as quickly as possible. That is why we focus our work on achieving the maximum impact for the animals.

We say no to new projects with little impact. We also regularly say goodbye to measures and activities that have the least impact. To this end, we also make difficult and unpleasant decisions because we prioritize the goals of the foundation over our personal feelings, wishes, and interests.

We are pros

We have our finger on the pulse when it comes to good structures, modern tools, and efficient processes.

Our appearance is professional and serious. Our work is of high quality. Complexity and intricacy are sand in the gears. That is why we focus on simplicity, clarity, and speed.

Courage & responsibility

We make courageous decisions, take responsibility, and act in a self-effective manner. In doing so, we also make mistakes and learn from them.

Hand on heart

We communicate clearly and openly, both internally and externally. We give each other honest, respectful feedback and express our expectations clearly. This often requires the courage to say unpleasant things, but it strengthens mutual trust and cooperation.

We get things done and celebrate

We focus on the essentials, prioritize our tasks, and do not get lost in the details. Some things require thoroughness and precision, but when the Pareto principle is enough, we apply it.

We are a team that gets on with things and sticks together. If someone is not available for a task at short notice, we reprioritize tasks and thus remain capable of acting. We celebrate good results and lessons learned.
